He was a gold-medalist at NIT Allahabad, from where he got his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science in 1985. Energy Trading Risk ManagementIn 1995 he joined Vedaris Technology, UK as the head of their Indian operations, which was the main product development center for the organization. He specialized in risk management and exotic financial modeling, and developed models for exotic options, value / profit at risk, option adjusted spread, credit default swap, etc. After the closure of Vedaris, he helped Aurora Software setup their development center in India. |
Business Intelligence & Predictive AnalyticsPost the acquisition of Aurora by ION, he used his understanding of IT stack and analytical skills to setup a High Performance Team, which developed tools to create simulated environments for performance benchmarking of ION Components, automatic execution of tests, and analysis & tuning of products for high performance. He was also part of a Predictive Analytics initiative at ION, which promoted the culture of data driven business intelligence and development of self-supporting (adaptive) solutions using data analysis and machine learning algorithms. |
